Общая информация

A boat trip on the Bosphorus will gift you the most vibrant panoramas of the city and allow you to see Istanbul in all its beauty. The strait is approximately 30 kilometers long, and its width ranges from 700 to 3500 meters. It is here that the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara converge, creating a unique maritime route around which the history of the great empire has evolved for centuries. During the cruise, you will see grand bridges connecting two continents. First, you will encounter the Bosphorus Bridge (15 July Martyrs Bridge) - a majestic suspension bridge measuring 1560 meters long, which has become a symbol of the unity of Europe and Asia. Its supports rise above the strait, opening breathtaking views, and in 2024, the bridge gained worldwide fame when tightrope walker Yaan Roose crossed it on a wire for the first time. A little further ahead, you will see the Sultan Mehmed Fatih Bridge, built to commemorate the 535th anniversary of the conquest of Constantinople. Its scale is impressive: with a length of over one and a half kilometers and a main span of 1090 meters, it is one of the largest suspension bridges in the world. Continuing north, you will see the Sultan Selim Yavuz Bridge - the widest suspension bridge on the planet, opened in 2016. Its towering pylons at 322 meters and eight lanes of traffic, along with a railway line, make it a true marvel of modern engineering. But the Bosphorus holds not only the achievements of modern architecture but also treasures of the past. On a small island, the mysterious Maiden's Tower rises - a symbol steeped in legends. Throughout its history, it has served as a watchtower, lighthouse, prison, and even a quarantine isolation facility. It has survived fires and earthquakes, was rebuilt in stone in the 18th century, and later became a romantic symbol of Istanbul. Legends are associated with the tower - about the Sultan's daughter who perished from a snake bite and the tragic love of Leander and Hero. A little further, on the Asian shore, the Beylerbeyi Palace greets guests with its luxury. Built in the 19th century as a summer residence for sultans, it amazes with bohemian chandeliers, handmade carpets, and a collection of porcelain, while its well-maintained gardens offer stunning views of the Bosphorus. A licensed guide will add a special atmosphere to your journey: each palace and every tower will come to life with legends and astonishing facts, turning the walk into a captivating journey through the centuries. And, of course, the climax will be the sunset over the Bosphorus. The sky will be painted in golden and pink hues, the city lights will glow in the evening twilight, and the entire strait will transform into a living picture that cannot be forgotten.
