Общая информация
Imagine a place where time flows more slowly, where the streets are filled with the scent of the sea, and instead of noise from cars, you can only hear the songs of birds and the creaking of bicycles. This is the Princes' Islands - a secluded corner that has been a symbol of solitude for centuries and today preserves an atmosphere of peace and harmony. The main feature of the archipelago is the complete ban on motor vehicles. You can move around on foot or by bicycle, making walks especially pleasant. The journey through the archipelago will begin at Kınalıada, the closest island to Istanbul. Its name is associated with the reddish color of its iron-rich cliffs. The island is known for its beaches, cozy streets, and calm atmosphere. It's delightful to stroll along the waterfront, enjoy the view of the sea, and relax in one of the cafes. Kınalıada is a great place to start discovering the islands and feel their unique rhythm of life. Next, the route will continue to the largest and most famous island of the archipelago - Büyükada. On its streets, you can find preserved wooden villas from the 19th century, ancient churches, and monasteries. In the north of the island, there is a lively waterfront with restaurants and shops, while to the south, you’ll find forest trails and viewpoints. Here lies the Monastery of St. George, accessible via a picturesque road with panoramic views of the Sea of Marmara. Büyükada is also known as the "Island of Cats": there are indeed many of them here, and they have become a true symbol of the island.
